Geox is an Italian footwear company founded in 1995 by Mario Moretti Polegato, who invented the patented breathable sole after puncturing holes in rubber soles during a walk in the Nevada desert. The micro-porous membrane lets vapor escape while blocking water.
Geox shoes run slightly large with a roomy, comfortable fit. First-time buyers often find they need half a size smaller. The Nebula sneaker range is the most oversized. Uomo Symbol dress shoes are closer to true size. Womens styles run about half a size large.
Consider going half a size down for your first Geox purchase. The brands roomy fit is intentional for all-day comfort. If between sizes, go with the smaller size. For narrow feet, definitely size down. Try with the socks you plan to wear regularly.
